EDITION 20: When You Wear Your Work
This week’s inspiration shares and highlights some of our past styled servers. We combed through our photo archive and pulled some “oldies but goodies” from years gone by!
For almost three decades, Joe Mineo Creative has been dressing servers to compliment and enhance stylized themes as well as delight our guests. Regardless of how many event actors we have styled in every design possible, the guest’s reaction is always worth the effort!
As event professionals, we sometimes think “been there done that” when it comes to costumed servers … let’s face it, we’ve seen it all, but we caution you not to be jaded! It can’t be denied that this is a fan favorite! Guests’ emotional responses to a styled server, versus the typical catering uniform, are very different. The interaction and expression, coupled with the conversation and laughter, as well as the photo snaps, are all signs that your guests are fully engaged in your event, but even more importantly, engaged in that moment.
It’s always fun to go overboard with a really wild look, but even a less dramatic styled server can elevate the overall impression of customization.
