EDITION 18: PCMA CLOSING PARTY

As event professionals we know that collaboration is the key to success. But for collaboration to be a true success, there must be a shared vision, common goal, and strong leadership.

For the PCMA conference in Pittsburgh, the closing night party was another amazing example of exemplary leadership delivered by The Event Group and led by the incomparable Sheila Weiner. If you’ve been fortunate enough to be a guest or client of Sheila’s, you know that her commitment to quality is unparalleled. Sheila and her team do not rest until every detail is perfect to include when the last guest has been treated as graciously as the first.

The Event Group approached us with an opportunity to assist them in transforming the perimeter event spaces of the Heinz Field by creating a vision of a color blocked party design. Their concept was a great one in creating a solution to overcome the challenge of a venue comprised of two nearly identical sides.

With a strong graphics package and incredible lighting by Three Rivers, the vendor team was able to bring the color blocked theme to life, truly in living color.

Messages that displayed positive attributes of the city were important to the host organization of Visit Pittsburgh and were expressed throughout the event in creative ways. Mighty, Vibrant, and Beautiful is right!
