The star of the show? The BENTO BOX!!
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (RRHF) is an iconic American institution and one Joe Mineo Creative is so proud to create events for annually. We have been fortunate enough to be selected to design and produce the Inductions floor show and the VIP party each year in Rock Hall’s home city of Cleveland, Ohio.
The event is held in the historic Public Hall where 1400 guests attend a pre-show cocktail style dinner and then are ushered upstairs to the show floor to watch 5 hours of awards and performances. It is an amazing night for all attendees; however, the venue does lend itself to some pretty big challenges logistically. Herding 1400 VIPs from the music industry through the divided event spaces as well as creating food without kitchens and feeding a large number of guests a high-end, quality meal can be a big deal; however with a fabulous team of vendors we always “make it happen!” {Did you know that is one of my favorite catch phrases?}
The planner for the RRHF, and our longtime friend and collaborator, Jamie Belkin developed the idea for the beautiful bento box presentation you see here. She worked with the Chef of Executive Caterers to achieve a result that was not only effective, but was an amazing high end branding opportunity for the organization. The lux look of the boxes were a stunning addition to our table design. The boxes provided everyone with their own self-contained meal which had the added bonus of being a brilliant solution eliminating servers from walking through the show floor during HBO’s live filming of the event.
With the new challenges related to covid-19 that caterers are dealing with today, we thought unique boxes could be a really great option to consider.
