EDITION 14 : GET IN THE GAME!
I find that Bat and Bar Mitzvahs are some of the most enjoyable events to design. Given that we are designing for a young teen, it allows us the opportunity to be extra creative! Looking through the eyes of a young person puts a different perspective on things. Fun, festive, and energetic are usually the adjectives our young clients use when meeting with us to describe their vision for the special celebration.
The images below capture moments from one of my favorite Mitzvahs I had the privilege to design. To celebrate our client’s passion for baseball, we created a separate room revealed for desserts. The space was transformed into a baseball locker room. Desserts were displayed on custom sinks, benches, and in lockers! In lieu of serving on traditional plates, all the desserts were served on plastic frisbees! Our client and their guests loved it … it was a home run!
