Joe Mineo Creative is a nationally recognized and award-winning event design company. With every corporate event, wedding, and private party we create, plan, or manage, our team provides clients with a unique design, exceptional service, and a sophisticated presentation.

We are looking for a hardworking, self-motivated team player who takes initiative and has pride in their work. In this role, the candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of events—prepping, building, installing, and striking decor elements both in our warehouse and on location. This is a full-time, year-round position offering a fast-paced, creative, and highly collaborative work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load, unload, pack, and unpack event decor, furniture, props, and floral products for delivery and setup.

• Prepare, assemble, install, and uninstall event structures such as backdrops, arches, furniture, draping, and other decor elements.

• Use hand and power tools safely to construct or assemble event components both in-house and on-site.

• Support the on-site team during installs and tear-downs, assisting with problem-solving and quick adjustments as needed.

• Maintain organization and cleanliness in prep spaces and venues—ensuring items are handled with care and returned to proper storage.

• Follow all safety protocols and handle delicate materials such as glass, floral, and fabric with precision.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hands-on experience with basic construction or set building; confidence using power and hand tools.

• Ability to lift 30-50 pounds and perform physical labor for extended periods.

• Strong teamwork skills, communication, and attention to detail.

• Reliable, punctual, and flexible schedule—must be available evenings, weekends, and some travel.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

• Must be 18 years old or older.
